Hyperhidrosis Botox
WHAT IS IT?
By blocking the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter, in areas with
excessive sweating, the function of the sweat glands is temporarily weakened.
Injecting botox (toxin) into areas like the hands, feet, and underarms
reduces sweat production and helps alleviate discomfort.

Effects and Recommended Frequency
  • 1 The effects gradually appear from 2–3 days after the treatment, with the maximum effect visible within 1–2 weeks.

  • 2 The results typically last for 2–3 months, so if continuous effects are desired, re-treatment within 3 months is recommended.

Precautions

Self-care is as significant as skincare for treatment effects.
Please read through cautions closely and follow them.

  • This treatment reduces sweat production, but it is not a procedure that completely inhibits sweating.
  • For 3–7 days after the procedure, it is best to avoid excessive drinking, saunas or jjimjilbangs, hot baths, and strenuous exercise.
  • Bruising and swelling may occur depending on your skin condition, but they are mild and will subside quickly.
  • Rarely after a hand hyperhidrosis treatment, there may be a slight decrease in grip strength. However, this is a temporary condition so there is no need for concern. If you need to perform detailed tasks with your hands, please keep this in mind.
  • If you experience severe itching or prolonged redness in the treated area, or any other unusual reactions such as inflammation, please contact the clinic.
